Photo Video Clients Biography Contact Me

I am an observer. It all started when I was a little boy around the dinner table with two garrulous older sisters and a Mom that allowed me to practice listening.

Over thirty years ago, a high school photography teacher noticed I had an "eye" and I knew my calling. It took a little while but television journalism found me and within two years of an internship I was a cameraman. 2000 minute- and-a-half documentaries and thirteen years later, I began a freelance video production career. That was 8 years ago.

The critical skill I try to present, aside from the highest production values possible, is communication. What does the client want? How can we work together to achieve those goals within a limited time frame and a strict budget? My other priority is sensitivity to the subject. I work very hard to put people before the camera at ease. I work most often in pediatric oncology wards but I have filmed in Mexican mountain villages and Romanian orphanages, CEO and Governor offices, as well as elementary schools and biomedical science labs.

Above all it's people that I love the most about this diverse kind of work.
